Day 16: Combat 60
Today was my first day of Combat 60; a whole 60 minutes of doing Combat. I was psyched. I thought this was what I needed. After doing it, boy was I discouraged but not in the sense where I want to give up. I was super discouraged that I sucked. I feel, again, when I try to speed it up when they say they do, I give up form and technique. I know I caught myself doing that dead leg thing. I so need more practice. Like A LOT of practice lol. And I so need more help with those like last two tracks - the punches followed by the push-ups and abs stuff. My arms felt like jelly after the punches that I super disliked the push ups. I had to the modifications for part of the way just so I can get through the workout. I hope I feel it tomorrow during Power HIIT.
Later this week, I'll do the trip to the store and try to get this eating thing down. I think I'll try and do some recipes and nutrition tips from other programs and books I've read. Right now, I'm reading one of those Abs Diet and learning a bit. I'm looking at labels and now and trying to see what is good for me. And I find that a lot of these nutritional guides that the programs have tend to have some overlap, making my shopping list all the better for me.
