Starting Over - My Way

So since I'm feeling unsatisfied with my recent workouts, I've decided to go back to what I love - Combat!!!! Only difference is, that for the next month or so, I'm going to be doing a Brazilian Butt Lift/Combat hybrid before starting the Combat Supreme Warrior workout Beachbody challenge. I'm hoping this goes better than just doing BBL. I'm hoping this makes me want to go back to working out and enjoying it rather than finding it a chore and something I'd rather not do lol. Also, this coming week, I'm going to start training for that 5k goal. I'm hoping this goes well and that I'll actually start to like running. If that goes well, I'll even move onto a 10k training program. And if those weren't enough, I'm going to try and throw in my own 30 day challenges. First challenge will be an Ab challenge that I'm gonna be starting on the 6th. I'll post the challenge below if you want to try and do them with me :) I know it'll be a...

Day 19: Feeling Like I'm Falling Off The Wagon

Well, I feel like I've fallen back into my old ways sadly. I know that's not completely true, since I'm down a pound or two this week, but it sure as heck feels like it. I've been so tired lately with the adjustment to my schedule, adding in school into the mix. And if that wasn't enough to add to my weeks, I'm adding in volunteer time as well as attempting to train for a 5k. I'm determined to making this work. I think I also need to change up my workout. I think BBL is not for me right now. I miss Combat a bit more than I thought I would. I miss Dan and Rach! I miss the music! I miss the sweaty awesomeness that came with it from all the kicks and punches! Don't get me wrong. I do like BBL. There are fun aspects and moves that I get with it that I don't get with Combat. Maybe I should do a hybrid of the two and see where that takes me. I know I'd look forward to Combat 30 or 45 or 60 more than I do the Cardio Axe. And I know I do like the Sculp...

Day 5: So Great To Be Moving Again!

Today is my 5th day into my challenge. And I have to say, I was so bored and found myself missing my Combat last night as I was doing my BBL Bum Bum workout. I missed all the kicking and the punching lol. I miss that BAMF feeling I get from the workout. However, while I miss it, I do like the change up that BBL is giving me. I am sore from last night's Bum Bum workout. And that was like 30 minutes of a workout. And I wasn't even able to give it my all cause I had to modify my moves and intensity to accommodate my ankle. I feel the soreness in my thighs and my butt.  It's fantastical!!! That's right - I said "fantastical"! I haven't felt this in a while. I think it's cause I have missed almost a month of workouts? It feels longer than like a month. I feel like the Pilates I was doing wasn't much of a workout cause I didn't get the sweat and the burn that I got from my usual workouts. Although, I think I prefer the Pilates workout over the BB...

3 More Days Till My Next Challenge

I'm going to be starting a new Beachbody challenge. It won't be my T25 since I still feel a bit wonky on my ankle doing some of those moves :( The new one is going to be through my coach, doing Brazilian Butt Lift. I think my ankle will be okay for that and if not, well, it'll be back to modifiers or something. I already know I want to do that with the Tummy Tuck workout. I hate doing that DVD. I'm excited for it, but at the same time not. I can't wait to start and do the program so excited for that. What I'm not excited for is the that it won't be my Combat workout lol. I can't wait to be back to working out. Not working out for this past week, two weeks has made me feel so lazy, but I know my ankle needed it after 8 hours on my feet at work. I only really get to sit for 30 minutes on my break or when I pee lol. I so need to get my eating under control. I can't eat the way I did when I was working out when I'm not working out.
