Day 14: Back to Basics

So today was a rest day. And since I am a bit addicted to Combat now, I did an easy day and went over the Basics. I figured, Dan and Rach make a point of saying go back to the basics, so I better go back to it. Well I did and I reviewed the technique for some punches and kicks, which I feel like I need the most help on - especially when we speed things up. I feel like with speed, I sacrifice some form and technique. I need to remember to load my punches, more so when doing upper cuts. I need to remember my back kick form; I know it's like a donkey kick and I do that, but I need to remember the other parts in setting up the move.

Today, eating-wise, not so good. I finally got my taco craving out of the way. It was good and I knew I needed that. I was craving it for a while and didn't give in. I tried eating other things but nothing satisfied it so I gave in. And now I don't want tacos and I'm satiated. I didn't really eat breakfast today. I did my snacks and I think dinner with be leftovers from the night before.

Tomorrow - Combat 60!!!! Haven't done it it yet. I wonder how I'll do with a whole hour of Combat. I'm sure it'll be just what I need to kick my butt further! I'm looking forward to it.
