Day 1: Trying To Balance It All
Okay, I'm back on this health kick. Well, slowly getting back into this. Today's focus for me is balance. I need to make time to get my workout time in with work and trying to get my side business going. All this work with both jobs is already tiring, but trying to get my business going is ruining my sleep and gym time. And consequently, it's ruining my diet.
I need to carve out time to do it all. I'm trying to gear up for my November push for my business. And I'm trying not to gain any more weight. And I'm also trying to get back into healthy eating habits.
To start to get back to healthy me, I've joined a 90 day challenge group. Hopefully this keeps me accountable. Or at least will kick my butt and get back to it again. I liked me better than and I felt better than. I found a routine, or more like several, to kinda mix it up. I'm going back to my Combat for a mix of cardio. I can only do the stairs for so long lol. Plus, I loved that Combat made me feel like I could take on a slew of fighters and walk away. I know I'm not that awesome, but I like to pretend I am :P Today is the official day 1. And with day 1, assuming I can find a tape measure, will be my measurements and all that good stuff. I'm not looking forward to that, but who ever is?! I'm looking to shed maybe like five pounds but I really want to shed inches, inches off my thighs, arms and stomach, If I could, I would shrink my calves, but I inadvertently work those out on accident since I'm short and tip-toe for a lot of things lol.
And while trying to get back into being my gym rat self, I figured I can do my research, my networking and trying to get sales. I'm reading when I can and watching YouTube videos for hints and and tips and tricks to social media sales. And on top of that stuff, I'm doing my Younique product and company research. All while playing with makeup! I know I need to get more comfortable in front of the camera talking. I watch my videos playback and I can't believe I sound like that; I sound ridiculous lol. You might see some of those on here since I figured I need more help and need some feedback.
