Day 1 Baby!!!!!
Well, today is it! The official start of Combat and I'm pumped! It's the official day today since I wanted to wait to get back from vacation. So the workouts I've done before today using Combat have just been me getting acquainted with them. I'm sure I'll still be uncoordinated and awkward, but that's to be expected.
I'm sure today and tomorrow will be a struggle since this weekend is busy not only with work, but I actually am going to have a bit of a social life. Which is surprising, cause I haven't had one lately, not really lol. So I know whatever calories I burn from the workouts, I know I will use to drink beer at the beer festival tonight. I also know I'll be sluggish due to lack of sleep. I've been having a bit of insomnia lately which will affect my goals and workouts. I'm trying to go to bed so I have a full eight, but that's not working out so well since I just wake up an hour or two later and stay awake for like an hour ... or three - like today/night.
Also, I put up my MyFitnessPal weight loss ticker thing so I can see where I've been and where I'm about to go, not only mid weight loss goal wise, but my reminder of when I want to lose the rest of the weight. So my goal is to be at or around 125 by July. If I don't reach my goal but look less flabby, I'd be happy with that too. In fact, if I had to choose, I'd rather be less flabby and be leaner than lose the weight and still be flabby. And I say that's my "mid" weight loss goal since I know I want to lose more, possibly another 20, 15 pounds after that. I'm not going for super skinny, I just want to be healthy so I want to see where I am after my goal.
Right now, I know my clothes are looser. And I know I can now fit in clothes I haven't worn in years! And they fit better now than when I did fit in them. FYI: It's so much better than new - it's old! I also know, that while I am tired on my feet and I ache after work, it feels less achy, for lack of a better word; I know I'm a bit "lighter" on my feet - there, that's a better description for that. I'll try and do my before measurements and pics on here soon.
Also, below, I added a video I found for measurements from the Beachbody website. It was helpful in taking measurements for me.
I can't wait to start! Wish me luck! And if you have any advice or tips or you anything, leave me a comment :)
