What I've Been Up To

Hey, all! I don't know what happened to my last post. I actually updated what I've been up to but for some reason, it got deleted. Maybe it's cause I did my post from my phone? My phone does suck and I'm going to try to get a new one in a few weeks.

Anyways, I'm here. I've been a bit down and not really eating or working out. Add that on top of doing nothing but working, it's not a great combo. But I've been feeling better and I'm ready to start again. Especially since I've been seeing awesome things on Facebook that have been really inspiring. I think I'll start slow and steady again as I try to balance my health, work and my family life with everything.

I'll do my pre-routine measurements and pictures, as much as I dread them. And I'll find a routine and check in with you lovely people.

On a side, note, I know I just said that I'd be cutting back on work, but I did start up selling Younique. I know some of you are thinking, "Oh no! Not another make-up/skin care rep" or "It's going to be another AVON lady trying to sell me things." Don't worry; I'm not. I mean I will post cool things about it that I love just like I post about my fitness loves and things since I feel like this is a blog about me and my life. Plus, I think it's a good place to share what's going on in life. I find a lot of cool things on here and hopefully you find cool, new things from me too.

And for those of you that haven't heard of Younique, don't worry. It's a fairly new company that's expanding into new countries and new areas of beauty. I found out about it from one of the ladies at work. She was selling mascara some time last year. And, well, I love mascara. If I don't wear makeup, I, at least, wear mascara. Anyways, she recently mentioned that they came out with a new formula from the original. I already loved the original formula; the original made me look like I had full, lush, lengthy lashes. And since I bought some a before the release of the new one, I just didn't bother getting the new one.

And then, September rolled around, she had sent me a link, showing me they had a presenter's kit for $99. It had two sets of the mascara, an eye palette, eyeliner, some samples and a great little box for everything. I was already going to buy some mascara and a palette. It was cheaper to do the presenter's kit than to buy them lol. And so far, I do love them! I've loved all the products I've tried and I'm picky when it comes to things going on my face since I have psoriasis. And I've found that anything I don't like, I can return since they offer a money back guarantee. And since I've been enjoying their products, I figured I'd give the selling a shot. Plus, what girl doesn't love makeup and playing with makeup?

Anyways, that's what's been up. I'll hop back on and let you all know about my workout routine I find, my "diet" and all my measurements :/

Back Again

Hello again! It's been a while since I've been on here. Mainly because of life's ups and downs. I've been feeling really low about myself and decided I needed to change. Hopefully it takes, or more like hopefully I'm ready to sustain change. What's changed for me? I'm at a professional part in my life where I've been feeling stagnant and want more or change or both. BEASTing Out

Well, I finally did it. I took the plunge into Body Beast. I like to lift so I thought this would be fun. And I'm sure it is fun if I didn't feel like puking during the workout. It's been a while since I've had this happen. I thought I gave myself enough time in between dinner and my workout. Maybe not? Or was I just working out that hard? I didn't feel like I did. It was a Build: Chest/Tri's day so I used light weights for like all my sets since I tweaked my left shoulder and didn't want to train one side heavy than the other cause I'd like some symmetry. Either way, I'm gonna keep on. Tomorrow is Legs and I do love a leg day, even if I hate it the next two days after. I'm still doing the Les Mills classes and videos. I did Body Pump this week. I should've taken that class as a sign to go easy on my shoulder now that I think about. I'll probably do some Combat or Sh'bam again for some cardio to go along with my Body Beast program. ...

Derailed In December And Still Off The Rails

So in December, I had every intention of being better, but it hasn't been going exactly as planned. It's actually been kinda bad. I've been a bit derailed. Maybe it was the holidays. Maybe it’s because I’ve been a little bit down and depressed. Maybe it was the weather of the season. Maybe it was and is all the working I've been doing. Actually, now that I think about it, it's all of the above on top and being in school this semester that’s in my way. My workouts have been sporadic. Work has me drained more than usual. And being anemic and having poor nutrition as of late hasn't helped either. I don’t sleep as much because I work too much. One job has me up at 3 a.m. And the other job, when I work, has me up till like 11 p.m. If I schedule my workouts before work, then I’ll be up at like 2 a.m. I need to find a balance and change.
