I'm Home Again...
With my workout that is! I'm back on Les Mill's Combat, baby! I just did my day 1 workout - Combat 30! And I have to say, I thought I was going to go back to sucking, but I didn't! I'm still not super fast but I didn't die and I somewhat kept up with all those kicks. So I'm taking that as a win. I haven't really done much cardio since I've gotten into lifting, but there's some thing about Combat that makes it awesome. I have that lovely post workout euphoria!
Also, as well as doing that Beachbody challenge once again this year, I've also decided on doing this BPI Best Self 6 Week Challenge. I figure it's a good way to get back into a lifting routine instead of going sporadically as I have been doing lately. The program I chose to get into for this challenge is 12 Week Daily Trainer With Kris Gethin. I chose this one over Jamie Eason's LiveFit because I want and need cardio through out the entire program. When I was on LiveFit, I just kept wanting to add cardio within the first phase. I understand why there's none but I feel like with my build and where I want to go, I need it. Plus I like the routines Kris has; it's a good change and a good way to jump right in lol.
As for diet, I need to get back to it. My mornings start well for the most part food wise but go down hill as the day progresses. I have been slacking off lately in watching what I intake so I'll probably go back to tracking everything to begin with. At least I don't have to tell myself to eat every 2, 3 hours or so since I find that I am usually hungry by then lol.
I need more sleep. This I know. I just don't get it. I think I need to add melatonin to my supplements to help with this. And speaking of supplements, I need to get back to using them!
Anyway, that's all for now. I have progress pics on my BodySpace (DaniJ715). Myfitnesspal is under the same name as is my IG, where I'll try and do my pics and workout motivations and other things if anyone wants to follow me.
